Every dog owner needs to make sure that they properly train their dog. Not only is this for your benefit but also for your neighbors because you do not want them to have to deal with the noise of your dog constantly barking and misbehaving. Most pet stores will have at least a remotely decent selection of dog training collars to offer. And if you feel that the electronic dog training collar is too harsh on your dog, you can find other types of collar that you might like better.

There are lots of other dog training collars that work well. There is the citronella dog training collar for one which is considered as being gentler than the electronic dog training collar by most owners. Instead of using an electrical shock as the electronic dog training collar does, it relies on a simple spray of citronella to scare the dog and keep them from barking.
